The stage was set with a number of tables and an array of apparatus. "Peculiar Croquet" was the first effect which was similar to the Eggs and Blocks of wood Combination, but three croquet balls and mallet were used instead.

Next a length of muslin was cut and restored a number of times. Following was a combination effect with sugar and milk. Then a Sympathetic effect with inverting a bottle and a glass - what was done to one happened to the other, and the effect terminated with the Passe Passe Bottle and Glass.

Paper is rolled into a tube and water poured in, A flash of flame and smoke gushes out and the paper unrolled to show the water has vanished.

Next he did the vanishing oil-lamp from under a cloth, the glass shade being seen through a hole in the cloth until the moment of vanish.

"A Tragedy in Triangles" consisted of various comic figures being formed from pieces of material attached to a board and this was followed by tearing and restoring a large sheet of tissue paper.

The final effect was the construction of a small postal box ( British-style Pillar Box) with the aid of wooden ends and a roll of red cardboard. From this was produced and impish-looking figure.
