Under the title of "Versatile Originalities" Max Holden and Miss Graham presented a novel act which embraced Smoke Pictures, Magic, Singing, Dancing and Shadowgraphy.
They used full stage and proceeded to blacken two white enameled sheets, one on each side of the stage. Accompanied with patter they drew designs on both sheets, and when they were joined together, they formed a complete picture.
They did a version of the "Serpent Silk" and Miss Graham sang and danced.
They concluded the act with hand-shadows by both Performers. Subjects included "His First Cigar", "Sweet Sixteen", (which was an elderly lady making up in front of a mirror), and two very active little monkeys.
