An Epyptian Princess appears who "speaks no English" Culpitt blindfolded the lady then borrowed a cigarette case. He asks the lady how many cigarettes in the case and she replies in "Egyptian" which Culpitt translates as correct.
Then he presented his Doll House Illusion (Culpitt's invention.) A small box-like stool is in the house and Cullpitt picks it up and says "How could she have concealed herself in that?"
His original Bathing Beauty effect followed. A picture of a girl in bathing costume with the sea in the background was rolled up and the bathing costume removed. When unrolled to show the benuded girl, the tide had risen to her neck.
The final effect was a vanish of plates taken from a stand and placed in a saucepan.He vanishes a number of oranges and they reappear in the saucepan in the place of the plates, whilst the plates reappear on the stand.
Culpitt works in a brisk, humorous manner and most of the tricks he performed were his originals.
