From bran, sawdust and paper-cuttings he produced hot coffee with cream and sugar.

The spirit hand followed, the hand being placed on a sheet of glass over two chair backs.
The Aga levitation of a girl followed, the couch being removed as the girl floated, and Carter had to stand on a chair to pass a hoop over her.
Tabs close and open to reveal a trellis garden. A standing cabinet, partly erected, was wheeled towards the back and the final doors and roof added. Cabinet was opened to show it empty, then various "spirit manifestations" took place inside, Finally the "spirit" herself is materialized.
Tabs closed and opened again to reveal a cage-cabinet open on each side. A lady entered and the curtains closed , A soldier makes his appearance from the cage, and the lady appears in the audience.
The cage was then suspended in midair. Girl entered another cage, vanishing from this and appearing in the suspended one.
